Question 1

What does the free plan include?

Accepted Answer

The free plan includes one digital Free Issue each month with up to 15 photos. You can upload photos, add headers and captions, view the finished magazine in Lately, and upgrade when you want printed magazines or higher photo limits.

Question 2

Can I have more than one issue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Single and group issues are repeatable. Monthly and seasonal are subscriptions, and you can still create single or group issues while subscribed.

Question 3

Does my magazine ship automatically?

Accepted Answer

Monthly and Seasonal plans renew automatically until canceled. A Monthly Issue is prepared for each monthly cycle, while a Seasonal Issue follows its three-month season. Keep your shipping address current and complete the issue requirements shown in Lately before the collection window closes.

Question 4

When does a Monthly Issue close?

Accepted Answer

A Monthly Issue collects photos through the final day of its displayed monthly window. Lately shows the active deadline in the app so you can finish captions, favorites, and your final review before the issue closes.

Question 5

How do Seasonal Issues work?

Accepted Answer

Seasonal Issues collect photos in three-month cycles: Spring is March through May, Summer is June through August, Fall is September through November, and Winter is December through February. Your first issue uses the season you choose at checkout, and each successful three-month renewal advances to the next season.

Question 6

What size and finish is a Lately magazine?

Accepted Answer

Every printed issue is a US Letter magazine, 8.5 by 11 inches, with a matte cover and silk-coated interior pages. The free preview is a six-page digital issue you read in the app.

Question 7

How many photos can I upload?

Accepted Answer

Free issues support 15 photos. Monthly issues support 35 photos. Seasonal, single, and group issues support 45 photos per issue or cycle.

Question 8

Why did an issue disappear from Manage?

Accepted Answer

Manage only shows active issues that are still collecting photos. Submitted, printed, shipped, delivered, or past collection issues move to Orders when a magazine or PDF is available.

Question 9

What are curated captions?

Accepted Answer

Curated captions let Lately lightly edit captions for template length and tone. Turn this off when you want your exact words used.

Question 10

When does photo collection end?

Accepted Answer

For single and group issues, this date is when photo collection ends. Choose a date within one month. Owners can change it before submission and may extend it once by one week.

Question 11

Can I order extra copies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Extra copies are available for printed issues where checkout is available. Standard US shipping is included. Copies can be split across saved US and supported international addresses before print handoff. The app estimates every international shipment and charges only additional shipping not already covered before changing the destinations.

Question 12

How does checkout work?

Accepted Answer

Paid printed magazines use Stripe. Add and confirm a saved shipping address in Lately first. The app checks whether our print and shipping partner can deliver the magazine there and shows any estimated shipping charge. Stripe then collects payment and applicable tax using that saved destination.

Question 13

How does international shipping work?

Accepted Answer

Standard shipping to eligible US addresses is included. For other supported countries, Lately requests a live estimate from our print and shipping partner for the destination, magazine, and number of copies, then adds that estimate at Stripe Checkout. For Group Issues, each member checks out and pays international shipping for their own delivery address. Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other local fees are separate and may be due on delivery. If our partner cannot ship the magazine to a country or address, the app will say shipping is unavailable and will not open checkout.

Question 14

When can I change a shipping address?

Accepted Answer

You can change an issue address until it is handed to the print partner. US shipping remains included. If the new destination adds international shipping cost, the app shows an estimate and collects the difference before changing the address. After print handoff, the address is locked.

Question 15

Who pays shipping for a gifted issue?

Accepted Answer

The gift covers the magazine price. Shipping to an eligible US address is included. If the recipient chooses an international address, they pay the estimated shipping charge before starting each gifted personal or Group Issue. Each additional Group member pays for their own issue and delivery when joining.

Question 16

How do Lately gifts work?

Accepted Answer

Choose a gift, add the recipient and a personal message, and complete checkout. The recipient receives a private redemption link, signs in or creates an account, and starts the issue included with the gift. They choose their eligible delivery address when they set it up.

Question 17

Can I reorder a finished issue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When a finished issue is eligible for another copy, open it from Orders and choose the reorder option. Lately uses the finalized magazine file so the reordered copy matches the issue that was originally completed.

Question 18

How do refunds work?

Accepted Answer

Use Request refund from Manage Subscription, Manage Single Issue, or Manage Group Issue. Refunds are reviewed by support and are not instant.

Question 19

What if my magazine arrives damaged or misprinted?

Accepted Answer

Contact hey@latelyinprint.com as soon as possible with your account email, order details, photos of the magazine and packaging, and a description of the problem. Lately will review eligible damage, production errors, missing pages, or delivery problems and help determine the appropriate replacement, reprint, or refund support.

Question 20

How does Lately protect my photos?

Accepted Answer

Your photos and magazine files are tied to your private account and protected with authenticated access, private storage, and account-level permissions. Lately uses customer photos to create and support their magazines, not for public marketing or third-party AI model training without separate permission.

Question 21

How do I contact Lately support?

Accepted Answer

Use the Support form on latelyinprint.com or email hey@latelyinprint.com. For an order, billing, or delivery question, include the email on your account and any relevant issue, order, or tracking details.

Question 22

Who controls a group issue?

Accepted Answer

The group owner manages the group, due date, invites, member removal, curated captions, and final submission. Members can add their own photos and manage their own copy.

Question 23

Who can see group photos?

Accepted Answer

Only authorized members of that group issue should see the shared group issue content. Removed members need a new invite link to rejoin.
